Growth Mentoring

Community & Business Partners delivers the Growth Mentoring programme for ambitious Lancashire businesses on behalf of Boost Business Lancashire.

Do you want to grow your business but you’re not sure how to make it happen? Could you use the support and experience of a business person who has ‘been there and done it’?

Growth Mentoring is a fully funded programme where your business is matched with a successful business person who’ll support you to tackle the challenges that you are facing in growing your business. These challenges could include: business planning, finance, sales, marketing and human resource management to name just a few.

The mentor will share their knowledge, experience and skills to help you develop your own Growth Action Plan. Over a series of one-to-one or group mentoring sessions they’ll then work with you to put the plan into action and address any barriers that may arise.

Working with a mentor helps you take focused time out to work on the business, rather than in the business, developing a growth strategy and clear business development goals.

With more than 300 mentors to choose from, we’re sure we have someone with the skills and experience to be a sounding board for you to test ideas on, and to offer a different perspective on your business.

We’ve already helped more than 500 businesses to grow and had some excellent feedback:

“Following a great meeting with Jonathan (CBP Mentor) I felt he quickly grasped the issues around getting our digital marketing strategy up and running. He is clearly very knowledgeable but also down to earth and supportive, willing to help and use his experience to assist my business. We set an agenda and I have a to do list to get through before we next meet.”

The meeting was great. I found it informative and confidence building and I really feel that these meetings are moving in a structured and progressive direction. Anne (CBP Mentor)  and I get on really well and the matching is perfect – I really don’t know how you found someone so apt for me! So, Thank you so much for this opportunity.

“The group mentoring that we are involved in has been hugely useful so far – it’s a fantastic group and we’re finding that having other similarly placed people in the room really adds to the experience.”

“Since our initial contact with Boost Lancashire, it’s been easy. The whole team have been very proficient so far, and have found me a great mentor who after only 2 hours has providing us with some excellent ideas and plans. Still early but all well so far” Thanks

Truly inspiring, and motivational
